With Christmas approaching, students in EAL have been looking at different festivals around the world.
They’ve asked and answered questions about Holi, Hanukkah and Thanksgiving. The children were all very excited to learn that during the Holi festival school children are allowed to be cheeky to their teachers!
In KS1 children acted out the Thanksgiving story whilst KS2 children used the festivals as a way of reviewing the way questions can be formulated in English.
