Back in the summer term, Global Campus launched a Lego Challenge based around the UNICEF Global Goal number 11: Sustainable Cities. Children from Nord Anglia schools around the world were challenged to collaboratively build a sustainable city using Lego.
On Tuesday, 1st May it was time for the BSB Sanlitun FOBISIA team to depart for the annual FOBISIA Games in Phuket. The mix of excitement and anticipation on the students’ faces was evident as they arrived at school looking very smart in their fresh, new kits kindly sponsored by VW.
This week was an absolute storm in the PE department! Our U9/U11 boys and girls both represented the school in the JISAC handball tournament held at BCIS.
Children in KS2 participated in the annual BSB Shunyi Football Invitational Tournament, now in its 5th year. After a fantastic start to the year in football during PE lessons and also ASA’s, Mr Magson assembled both boys’ and girls’ teams from each year group, as BSB Sanlitun invaded our Shunyi sister school in an action packed week of football.
This week a number of Year 4, 5 and 6 children represented the school at our first JISAC sporting event… Cross Country. The event was held at YCIS, with 7 other schools competing.
There is a buzz and an excitement around BSB Sanlitun with this term’s Hacking Challenge. Children are full of enthusiasm about hacking and are discussing their hacking ideas with their friends and teachers.
