BISS Puxi hosted the SSL Development Swim Meet, Round 2 on Wednesday 28 February. It was a great pleasure to organise such an amazing event for our 7 and 8-year-old swimmers and have more than 70 children from 5 different international schools coming to the BISS campus!
All of the swimmers completed 25m of each stroke and finished with fun races at the end of the meet. Congratulations to all the participants and their parents who came to the pool to support and encourage our young swimmers.
The purpose of the development meets is to raise an interest in swimming and provide an opportunity for the younger children to compete and perform their swimming skills in front of their parents. We hope that the development swim meet is a good starting point for our swimmers in their aquatic careers. Furthermore, we hope that they will continue to enjoy swimming as a sport and set new swimming records later in ACAMIS and SSL swimming meets.
