We’re thrilled to announce that Nord Anglia Education is continuing its partnership with UNICEF for another three years! Since 2017, this unique collaboration has provided incredible opportunities for our students to engage in meaningful social impact initiatives that raise awareness of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), helping foster empathy, social advocacy, and global citizenship in all our classrooms.
At BISS, our students have actively participated in this programme through initiatives like World Children's Day, building a deeper understanding of global challenges and developing skills as changemakers.
Our school’s commitment to social responsibility is further reinforced by our participation in major UNICEF-led events like World Children’s Day on 20 November, where Nord Anglia’s 80,000+ students come together to reflect on the value and potential of young people in shaping a better world.
BISS Principal, Andrew Lancaster, said, “we’re incredibly proud of our students’ involvement in the UNICEF partnership. It’s been inspiring to see them develop a deeper sense of responsibility and empathy through their participation in global initiatives. From their engagement in World Children’s Day to their work in SDG workshops, they’ve embraced the opportunity to become advocates for positive change. We look forward to continuing this journey over the next three years, empowering our students to make a meaningful impact both locally and globally”.
We look forward to sharing more updates on the wonderful projects our students will undertake in collaboration with UNICEF! If you would like to learn more about our work with UNICEF, you can visit their website here.
