Principal
I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and gained experience as a Teaching Assistant before undertaking my PGCE at the University of Northampton.

I have worked across the entire Primary age-range in four different local authorities (Northamptonshire, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire and Bedfordshire) in England and also worked for a period as a Lead Practitioner for the Bedfordshire Schools SCITT, a senior role in the education of trainee teachers.

I have experience as a Senior Leader and as a Headteacher, raising standards in schools in the UK, securing children’s future prospects and developing a curriculum which develops learners into well-rounded members of our society.

Most recently I was Head of Primary at one of BISC-LP's sister schools, The British International School of Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia. During this time my particular highlights were the development of our Positive Education Curriculum, the foundation of our MIT STEAM Labs and the successful development of our Early Years Provision.

Joining me here in Chicago are my wife, Nancy and my two children, Lorelai and Hugo. Lorelai is in Year Four and Hugo is in Year Two. Outside of my working life I enjoy going for walks with my children, travelling, reading books and continuing to support my American Football Team- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
