Firstly, our students looking for elections had to produce a video introducing themselves and outlining why they wished to join our leadership team.  These were then shown to all year groups from Year 4 to Year 13 at Registration on the day prior to voting.  

 

Next was a formal interview conducted by Mr Wilson our Vice Prinicpal, Dr Brawner our Director of Student Life, and Mr McHugh our IB Coordinator.  This interview also included an assignment where our students read a passage aloud to demonstrate their public speaking skills.

 

Thirdly and fourthly, the voting took place for the election of both positions.  Staff voted for their favourite candidate and students from Year 4 to Year 13 also voted.

 

After this process was completed, Alexander emerged as Head Boy and Maryam emerged as Head Girl.

 

Our student leadership will be completed by Serena who will become Deputy Head Girl and Kapil who will become our Deputy Head Boy.  They will be supported in their work by ten House Prefects from Senior School.  These will be Simone, Adel, Anais, Anna, Akshaya, Enen, Bernardo, Sergio, Christophe and Arjun.

 

This year’s Student Leadership team represent ten different nationalities from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Hungary, Malaysia, Pakistan, Portugal, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America – truly an international group to lead an truly international student body!
