Awards range from $5,000–$25,000 per year and are distributed based on how a student exemplifies the IB Learner Profile.
For recipients entering Years 10 or 11, awards are for one academic year and range from 5-10K per school year. If a student entering Year 10 receives the award, they will need to apply for the award in Year 11, demonstrating they fulfilled the requirements of being a scholarship recipient. Annual awards for students in Years 10 and 11 are between $5,000-$10,000.
For recipients entering Year 12, the award is for 2 academic years (Years 12 and 13) as long as the student maintains all requirements of the award. For recipients entering Year 13, the award is for 1 academic year. Annual awards for students in Years 12 and 13 are between $5,000-$25,000.
For students entering Years 12 and 13, The Hayley Byrne Memorial Scholarship is our highest award at $25,000 per year. Hayley Byrne was an inspirational teacher and leader at our school. She was passionate about the IB Programme, giving students opportunities to learn and develop in their academic studies, and growing as internationally minded young people. Hayley challenged and supported all students to be ambitious, to become critical thinkers, to stand up for justice and for those in need. She enabled students to graduate with confidence, determination, and the knowledge that they can make a positive difference in the world. This scholarship is dedicated in loving memory of Hayley Byrne.
