Welcome back for what we hope will be another fantastic year of sporting success at BIS!
For your information, in the secondary campus, the BIS Sport teams will once again be using a seasonality format within our Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme. This is designed to coincide with SISAC competition dates and maximise training potential for our students. As per last year, each team will have two in-season practices per week and when the sport is out of season, one pre-season practice per week.

Recreational sports CCAs and all paid sporting CCAs will continue to follow a termly format. This may mean that your child has to plan ahead during the CCA sign up at the start of each term to select the sports that may be starting mid-way through the term. Please refer to the CCA booklet for more information regarding days and times of each sporting CCA.
Please note that there is no change to Sporting CCAs in the Infant or Junior campus.
Here are some sporting dates for your diaries. Please save these dates if your child is interested in representing either their house in intra-school or BIS in inter-school sporting events:
For a more detailed view of all three campus sporting fixtures and sporting events for the year, including SISAC City Championships, please follow this link BISSportsEvents.
To keep up to date with anything to do with PE and Sport, please visit the school website PEandSport or the social wall for our twitter feed @BISHCMC_PE. The official PE department Twitter account will be the main mode of all communication with parents regarding our sporting results and successes throughout the year, so please visit this twitter page as often as you can.
I do hope that your child will benefit from some form of sport this year, whether that is recreational for fun or competitively with a team in HCMC or abroad. I hope together we have a great sporting year.
Phil Husband, Director of Sport
