Matheo Luong, Fergus Lim, Yule un Park and Yoon Jun Choi faced an online individual challenge and a group problem solving task in the FOBISIA Maths Online Competition. They were also challenged to make a three minute video about the patterns within Pascal’s Triangle without any help (or hindrance) from teachers.
The team achieved the third highest combined score in the individual competition, with both Yoon Jun and Yule Un in the top ten of 148 of South East Asia’s finest young mathematicians. Overall, the team finished in 6th position and after the holidays they will begin the final preparations for the Primary FOBISIA Maths Competition in March.
