On Thursday, Year 10 students were treated to a change from their scheduled maths lesson with a visit from guest speaker Professor Robert Garbary.
Professor Robert Garbary is from the Centre for Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), the largest Mathematics and Computer Science outreach organization in North America and his talk centred around mathematical problem solving techniques. The students enjoyed stretching their brains at the end of a busy term and managed to crack some extremely tough problems. The questions are attached below, please try them for yourself!
