This week in Primary we had our Maths Day. There was a focus on Maths, Art and Measures. Each class produced a food item, which was tasted and judged by Mrs Carroll and Miss Fitzpatrick for the Bake Off. As you will see from the pictures, some of the things made were delicious.
Well done to 1S, 4I and 5H who were the winning classes! Each class also created a piece of Maths art and this is currently being displayed in the quiet area. There are some impressive pieces. Different classes also swapped and played games (which they had prepared in advance) with each other.

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
