Year 3 visited the Dinosaur Park at Vinhomes Riverside and they were amazed at how many fossils they found.
This term in Topic, Year 3 are studying Dinosaurs. Earlier this week, we were visited by Dr. Pedro who is a paleontologist. He told us he was in Vietnam looking for fossils as there were some dinosaur remains nearby!
Year 3 visited the Dinosaur Park at Vinhomes Riverside, as Dr. Pedro thought that is where the remains could be, to look for fossils. We were amazed at how many fossils we found!
We made sure we wore gloves so that the oil on our hands would not rub away any markings. We carefully used brushes to brush away any mud on the fossils and we used magnifying glasses to get a closer look at what we found.
Thank you, Dr. Pedro, for telling us where we could find dinosaur remains!

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
