Year 3 had an amazing first-hand opportunity to interact with a range of animals that are found in the rainforest.
As part of their IPC topic ‘Rainforests’ the children were able to understand how animals had adapted to their environment and how they survive in their habitats.
Children showed immense care and respect to the animals whilst handling and feeding them. They met iguanas, bearded dragons, ferrets, sugar gliders and a range of rodents.
Year 3 had a really wild time at Curious Kid. We would like to thank Chris and Yanas, our hosts at the centre.

As the academic year whirls by, the first term in primary school draws to a close, marking the end of a whirlwind of learning, growth, and new experiences.
As we move towards the end of term, our Primary exit points are always a great celebration of learning that has taken place over previous weeks and months.
At BIS, in addition to the excellent opportunities we are providing in the classroom, we enrich the students experiences and learning by taking them on day trips.
