St Andrews students are creative changemakers who make a positive difference to our school, community, and global environment. We are committed to conservation, sustainability, and doing everything we can to protect the world around us. Our Sustainability Coordinators lead our Environmental Review and Action Plan, which challenges students to find creative solutions to environmental challenges, including reducing waste and recycling.
As part of our commitment to social change and sustainability, our students lead local initiatives to help those in need as well as support the communities close to us. We are happy to share our latest Social Impact Report 2022/23, giving highlights of the causes that St Andrews Bangkok have supported in the past academic year. Activities include:

Our Community Partners
Second Chance Bangkok is a local initiative by residents of Bangkok's largest slum, Klong Toey. They rely on donations of quality second-hand goods and sell them to residents of Klong Toey community at affordable prices or pass them on to those who lack the resources to purchase these essential items themselves. The shop creates employment for many local residents, in the secondhand shop, and through the upcycled project where women with skills in sewing are transforming clothing into beautiful bags and giftware.
The International Red Cross is a charitable organisation that is made up of three independent parts. It is guided by the Fundamental Principles and united by a central purpose: to help without discrimination those who suffer and thus contribute to peace in the world.
Bangkok Community Help exists in order to provide assistance to the more vulnerable sections of our Bangkok society. It's an opportunity to give back to our collective community. Most recently providing hot meals, food parcels and simple medicines and PPE to families and individuals in the Klong Toey community who have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic.
