High School: “We are empathic, always considering how other people are feeling.” hh

The term is flying by! I can’t believe that we are already half-way through November and (almost) into the last month of what has been a very busy first term.

This week is Anti-Bullying Week in the UK, and we will be marking this with our Counselling Team visiting each Year Group’s Assembly. I will also be visiting these Assemblies to discuss our very related November Monthly Theme - “We are empathic, always considering how other people are feeling.”

For those parents newer to the school, our Monthly Themes are one of the ways in which we keep the qualities described in our What Makes a Great St Andrews Community document, written by the High School students six years ago, fresh with all members of our community.

It has been great to welcome parents back into school this term, from the Parents’ Information Evenings in August to the more recent International Day, and we all are looking forward to welcoming more parents into school as we celebrate Christmas, and the end of Term 1, with our community in five weeks’ time.

We have lots happening before that too, and the Calendar below shows the range and number of events happening in the High School over the next five weeks.

You can view all the School's live Google Calendars, and add our calendars to your personal Google Calendar, via Moodle.
