We’re almost there… the PTG Summer Party is just around the corner. Get ready for an epic evening of talk and laughter, food and drink, and of bopping till you drop. Just in case you missed the memo – it’s this coming Friday, 14 June 2019, from 6.00 p.m. until late, at the O’zKool Bar in the ACMEN Ekamai Complex. Be there or be square! :)
Reserve your tickets on Moodle and pay online or at the School Office. You’ll get a black wristband which will entitle you to entry, a free drink, and finger food. All that for only 200 baht. There really isn’t a better deal in town.
The Summer Party is organized and subsidized by the PTG. Thanks to a generous drinks donation from school, your ticket also includes a free glass of beer or wine.
Join us in celebrating the fabulous STA community that, together, achieves so much during the school year. This is our chance to let our hair down and relax.
See you on Friday 14 June at the O’z Kool Bar, Ekamai, from 6.00 p.m.

As you know, we have a new PTG Committee. We’ll be introducing the members and their roles in the PTG in an upcoming issue of this newsletter. For now, you can put faces to names by checking Moodle or the STA website.
The PTG also has a Facebook group where you can find lots of useful information about St Andrews International School Bangkok as well as getting used to living in Bangkok if you are new to the city. If you would like to contact us about something specific, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email on ptgchair@standrews.ac.th.
Are you a new student at St Andrews International School Bangkok looking to dip your toes into the world of swimming? Or perhaps you are a current student who has always wanted to improve your skills in the pool? Then there is no better time than now to join the STA Marlins Swimming Squad. The Marlins Recreational Group is our latest swimming programme, welcoming all beginners on Tuesdays after school.
At St Andrews Bangkok, we believe that every child has the potential to discover and develop a unique musical voice. Our Instrumental Programme offers students an extraordinary opportunity to explore and master a range of musical instruments, fostering a lifelong love for music and enhancing their cognitive and creative development.
Students enjoy having their own device which they can personalise and which is always available. In response to concerns around bag weight and battery life, we extended the range of devices that students were able to bring to school.
As Term 3 comes to an end, three senior students, Eleonore, Natalie, and Ananya, reflect on their experiences in the IB Diploma Programme at St Andrews International School Bangkok. Perhaps one of the most meaningful projects Ananya and Natalie took on during their senior studies was starting a foundation with a few other friends called Today4tomorrow – an initiative to provide opportunities to underprivileged girls in Thailand.
