The Year 3 students had their Expo last week to show their parents all the work they had been doing on their topic of The Rainforest.
The Foundation Stage 3 students brought the Drama Studio to life with their end of year production ‘Handa’s Surprise’.
This year's FOBISIA Primary Poetry Competition invited students in Key Stage 2 to write poems around the theme 'Where I Go'. They could interpret this in any way they wished. There were two categories: Years 3&4 and Years 5&6.
I am headed to New York City to study photography. It's very exciting and only slightly terrifying but I am sad to be moving on from St Andrews.

Year 2 students opened the morning by performing some fantastic songs capturing the spirit of the Expo. They showed their parents all they have learnt about the tropical minibeasts that live around us.
All of this wonderful activity is gradually building momentum for the Summer Art Festival, which will culminate in a showcase of music, dance and drama in the theatre on Wednesday 14th June.
I am planning to go to Boston University for university, and there I hope to continue my passion in sports and academics.
This was their first performance as Year 5 instrumentalists, since starting their instruments at the end of October. The children will continue learning these instruments until Year 9.

Saturday night’s Graduation of the Class of 2023 was a lovely evening, celebrating the end of their St Andrews journey for 100 Year 13 students, along with their families and their teachers.

I am delighted to congratulate two of our Year 9 students who entered the recent NAE Global MIT Steam challenge. Carina and Pun Pun entered this competition videoing themselves as they moved through the different stages of their design process to create excellent models.
This week will see the performance of HONK! The Key Stage 2 production. The cast and crew have been working tirelessly all year to make this wonderful show come to life with incredible costumes, wonderful scenery and amazing acting and singing. The dates of the performances are Tuesday, 24 May 2023, Wednesday, 25 May 2023 and Thursday, 26 May 2023.
On Friday 28th April, there was a very well-attended and successful meeting at the High School for parents of our current Year 6 students.
Last week we launched our first SuSTEAMability week. It was a fantastic experience that all the staff and students enjoyed. Students got involved in a wide range of sustainable projects.
Last week saw the students and teachers all celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
