We had a Makaton master class workshop, a search party assembled in FS2 in search of our endangered house mascot animals and Santa’s elves have been busy putting up Christmas decorations. How wonderful!

The big Christmas trees are up! Over the next month, we have concerts galore and the Christmas fair to look forward to. Find out when your Christmas concert is being held and how to donate during this time of giving. And finally... the Christmas card competition results are in.

There were songs and rhymes aplenty in the Nursery Rhyme tent. The Nursery Rhyme Craft competition was nip and tuck. We got dressed up specially, throughout Anti-Bullying week. And Christmas will soon be upon us and is a time of giving. We also have some important health updates!

Don’t forget to leave a present or two under the Christmas tree for the children at the Bangkok Refugee Centre (BRC). A big well done to KS2 for helping make Nursery Rhyme week a massive hit! Loy Krathong was a sight to behold for the community. Our Marlins and Flames got stuck into an action-packed weekend of sport. This week, we have a performing arts extravaganza, special Juilliard virtual visitors and a PTG coffee morning in Primary School.

The learning cycle is never linear for any child, it naturally fluctuates. In the classroom or through virtual schooling, every student experiences times of acceleration and others which are more challenging.

The Thai Department wants our St Andrews International School Bangkok community to appreciate the special significance that water holds in Thai society and enjoy our traditional celebrations of the water through our annual Loy Krathong assemblies, Krathong making, and Loy Krathong activities.

We celebrated Scottish heritage and culture as the Lions, Leopards and Tigers demonstrated immense physical skills during the Annual Highland Games. The STARs holiday camp was a shining success as students got well-deserved fun and games for hard work at school.
