Every now and again, a Regents’ alumni does something truly amazing. This is the case with Regents’ alumni, Juste Raipaite – Regents’ IB Graduate from 2015.

Juste was commended for her actions as a Global Citizen whilst studying at Regents. What she has done since leaving Regents confirms that what a Regents’ student learns at Regents and what a Regents student does at Regents is for life, not just for the few years within the confines of Regents’ campus.
Before graduating, Juste won a much coveted scholarship to read Politics, Philosophy and King’s College, London. Since joining King’s College, Juste has proven that once a Global Citizen, always a Global Citizen. Juste has organised, alongside a group of dedicated King’s College students, to hike to the peak of Machu Picchu, the 15th-century Inca citadel situated on a mountain ridge 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level of the ancient Inca Empire. The hike is in aid of a charity, ‘Aids Orphans’, which raises awareness of and supports people affected by the Aids virus.
Thanks to the generous donations made by Regents’ community through the Movember campaign and also through the Round Square Special Projects Fund, Juste’s charitable cause, is a little closer to reaching their goal of raising 100,000 UK Pounds (5 million baht) before the hike commences in August.
