Regents already has a diverse boarding community, which includes boarders from Thailand, France, Germany, Armenia, Estonia, Japan, South Korea, Lithuania, Afghanistan, Nepal, Russia, Bhutan and of course the UK.
With only three boarders on roll from Taiwan, Tim is looking forward to promoting the school in Taiwan – and the consultants he met were positive about the demand for boarding places at Regents.
“There’s already great interest in Taiwan for high quality British education and most parents understandably think first about boarding schools in the UK. To find that they can have the same curriculum and quality of education just three hours from Taipei rather than thirteen hours generated great interest, particularly as at Regents we can also offer a tropical climate and South East Asia’s outstanding array of learning opportunities.”
Applications are still being accepted for boarding places starting at the beginning of the 2014/15 academic year.
