Two Weekends of Wakeboarding at Regents International School Pattaya
Thailand provides boarding school students with some outstanding opportunities for weekend outdoor adventure. At Regents we make the most of these opportunities: in part because it challenges our boarders to try something new, and it part because it is an excellent escape from the hard work and focus which comes with IB Diploma and GCSE courses.
Two Weekends of Wakeboarding at Regents International School Pattaya Boarders from Regents go wakeboarding Thailand provides boarding school students with some outstanding opportunities for weekend outdoor adventure. At Regents we make the most of these opportunities: in part because it challenges our boarders to try something new, and it part because it is an excellent escape from the hard work and focus which comes with IB Diploma and GCSE courses.

This months’ trip to the internationally acclaimed ‘Wakeboarding Thailand’ centre on Dok Krai reservoir, just a short journey from Pattaya, is an excellent example. It proved to be so popular amongst the boarders that they had to be split into two groups and sent to Wakeboarding Thailand on separate weekends. Wakeboarding is a surface water sport  which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a lake. The rider is towed behind a motorboat, typically at speeds of 30–40 km/h (18-25 mph), depending on the board size, rider's weight, type of tricks, and rider's comfort speed.

Wakeboarding Thailand is a family run business, and we are always treated superbly by our hosts Sarah and Deen, and their children. Their hospitality is exceptional, and the food that they prepare is always excellent. We know that we are always guaranteed a great day out, and that our students will come back charged with excitement and loaded up with memories.
