Dear friends,
International Day will soon be with us, Friday 14th February, and we are looking forward to all our parents and friends joining us for this celebration of cultural diversity within our school community.
Please download our first ever digital programme below. This will NOT be printed out or available on the day so please do print a copy for yourselves to bring along or save the programme on your smart phone or tablet to view on the day.
We encourage all parents and visitors to be in school and on the Oval by 8.30 am, helping your own countries to set-up their stalls. This will also be the starting point for the Parade of Nations at 9.00 am and we would hope that everyone joins their own country in parading around the Oval. All students are expected to be in their national costume and we do hope to see many parents in national dress too.
International Day will finish at about 1.00 pm. The school day will continue until 3.00 pm and buses home will run as normal. The Primary School will be having an afternoon based on international activities, including a quiz. The Secondary School will be hosting the annual House Dance Competition on the International Day stage. Parents are welcome to remain behind and enjoy the Competition - there may even be a chance to dance!
If you have any questions at all about International Day then please do contact me at any time.
Kind regards
Mr. Paul Crouch
