Congratulations to all our participants at the 12th Annual BIS Primary Aquathlon held at the Junior Campus last Saturday. Nearly 300 children signed up for this event, from Year 1 to Year 6, in a race of endurance, involving a gruelling swim in the pool then an energy-sapping run of laps around the field. A huge turn-out of supporters witnessed our BIS athletes display determination and perseverance to complete their races, ending with them earning the much sought after 'Outstanding Effort and Completion' certificate. Well done to all!

Last Tuesday 17th September our Early Years and Primary students and staff excitedly came together to celebrate Moon Festival. Also known as Mid- Autumn Festival and ‘Tết Trung Thu’ in Vietnamese, Moon Festival is a significant cultural event in Vietnam. It’s held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the year. BIS HCMC students compete internationally in multiple sports at the FOBISIA Games in Thailand

Every year BIS HCMC takes students from across several year groups, in Primary and Secondary to the FOBISIA Friendly Games, held near Pattaya in Thailand. This provides our young athletes with the opportunity to compete at a high level against other British International Schools across Asia in athletics, basketball, football, swimming and T-ball as well as form global friendships with their peers throughout the region.

BIS Barracudas finish the season as champions with passion, perseverance, and outstanding swimming

It’s been a phenomenal year for our BIS Barracudas swim team, and they ended it in style with first place champions in our own BIS Invitational 2024 in April and overall champions last weekend at the ISHCMC International Swim Invitational 2024. The last major swim meet of the year for our entire Barracudas squad.
