To streamline the North Broward Prep application process, we strongly encourage scheduling a Vericant interview. While not mandatory, this interview provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit your personality and abilities to our admissions team. You can arrange your interview through Vericant.

1. Application: Complete our Boarding Admission application. (Please note the correct enrollment date that you seek to start).

2. Complete our Upper School Admission Application Supplement Form

3. Teacher Recommendations: North Broward Prep requires two recommendations to be completed by school personnel who know you well. Recommendations from an English teacher and Math teacher are highly recommended.

4. Academic Transcripts: Submit all transcripts for grade 9 and above including the current school year semester grades or course list if you are applying for grade 11 or 12. Mid-year applicants are required to submit a current course list. International applicants whose transcripts are not provided in English must have their transcripts translated. For all applicants, a grading scale must be provided. All transcripts and translations can be be uploaded to the online application or emailed to admissions@nbps.org.

5. English Proficiency: If English is not your primary language, submit test results for and English Proficiency exam (TOEFL, IELTS, etc).

6. Students requiring an F1 visa for study in the US: A copy of the student’s passport and a financial statement reflecting available funds to cover the cost of attendance (for example, bank statement) for either the full length of the program, the length of a single academic year or 12 months, whichever is shortest, is required for NBP to issue the student’s I-20. If your student is an international applicant transferring from another school in the United States to North Broward Prep, please have the DSO at your current school complete the I-20 Transfer-In Form and send this back to admissions@nbps.org.

7. Student Interview: A student can complete an interview through Vericant at any point in the admissions process – an application is not necessary to complete the interview that is required as part of the application process. Vericant is the preferred method for interviews. If you do not complete an interview with Vericant, you will be able to interview with the Admissions team once you have a completed admission application – with all supplemental documents submitted. The student or parent is invited to schedule an interview with Boarding Admission Manager by clicking here.

8. Admission Decisions: Decisions communicated via an emailed letter within five business days of the completion of all of the above steps unless otherwise indicated or if additional information must be gathered to aid in the decision.
