Our Campus

Our library collection at North Broward Prep is dynamic and updated regularly with the best traditional and digital materials in the educational field.

Our two campus libraries — our Lower School Media Center and our immense “Learning Commons” for our Upper School students — have distinct spaces and physical collections. 

They function together as an interdependent library system, providing seamless digital resources and serving as the home of our information literacy lessons. 

Have you ever witnessed the remarkable growth of a variety of plant species within the nutrient-rich water of our hydroponic garden? Or tended to a colony of bees, busily building their own complex hive architecture?  

Outdoor learning spaces like our hydroponic garden and apiary are not only outstanding places to study and learn hands-on skills for all our students — they’re also inspiring reminders of the growth and care of our own students.

Our Lower School students especially have exciting outdoor play spaces, designed to stimulate their imagination and provoke their curiosity. Coupled with our advanced discovery-based program, our youngest learners can develop their critical thinking, empathy, and social skills — all while having fun outdoors!

Our facilities are boosted by a powerful digital infrastructure that allows for seamless, interactive learning using digital devices and technologies.

As an Apple Distinguished School, all our students have iPads with each class’s textbooks and learning materials, accessible with the simple tap of a button. We use the devices strategically to further what we’re exploring in the classroom for any subject, quizzing and reinforcing knowledge, and applying our skills in creative ways — differentiated for every level. 

For example, an IB Art student had created masterful drawings digitally on her iPad, allowing her to have unparalleled pre-professional abilities, ready to deliver an exceptional portfolio for the next stage of college and her career.
