Despite things being a bit different this year, we are determined to bring the excitement of House spirit back to our school, and House Day is a pivotal date on our calendar.
This year, students will largely be taking part in House Day with their classes to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, and keep us all as safe as possible. That doesn’t mean that we still can’t provide a range of activities for our students to compete in and bring as many points as possible to their House!
The theme of our House Day is the slogan ‘Nothing Can Stop Us’ and we think that works well within the current climate we are all experiencing. We want the students to take part and compete just like usual, within an environment that is still very new to everyone.
Activities will include art, STEAM, puzzle work, problem solving, online collaborative team work and many, many more exciting surprises throughout the day. Students should wear their House shirts with pride and join us on the18th November, to see which House will come out on top!

Students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at The British International School Abu Dhabi once again performed significantly above the global average.
A total of 76 students at The British International School Abu Dhabi studied for IB exams this year. As well as achieving an outstanding pass rate, the students ’ average score was 33.6, exceeding the global average of 30.32.
