The iPad is a device that through its mobility, flexibility and easy access for all allows our learners from Kindergarten through 12th grade to become creators of their knowledge. The iPad helps our learners make meaning of their world, anywhere, anytime.
Our gardens, located across our campus, are collaborative, hands-on learning spaces. Our Middle School Gardens in particular have grown into true agricultural learning spaces where our curriculum includes renewable energy, ecological systems, food systems, eco-footprints and sustainable agriculture to name just a few!
Garden Journals
Using the iPad Pro and the Notability app, teacher Dawn Card provides her students with a garden journal template where they can record their data collection, garden photos, research links and scientific discoveries.

Farm to Table
Our Middle School students have forged a strong collaboration with our Flik dining service! Our students harvest food from our gardens and Flik incorporates these beautiful, organic foods into our school menu.
Farmer Jay
Recently, Farmer Jay, a local sustainable farmer and educator, came to work with our Middle School students. Based out of Delray Beach, Farmer Jay has been working in the area educating families, students and community members about growing food! He is passionate about reconnecting communities to their food supply and he encourages everyone to grow and buy local.
