Due to health and safety, our swimming lesson cannot be delivered through live session in our Virtual School Experience.
[[\media\Swimming Lessons in our Virtual School Experience 2.mp4]]To provide continuous support for the children in improving their swimming skills and also finding out the new children’s swimming skills, Ms Peppy is giving tasks on our learning platform that the children can practice at home should they have access to the pool with parental supervision. One of the given swimming tasks is focusing on freestyle swim and water confidence for Key Stage 1 children, and freestyle technique and swim fitness for Key Stage 2 children.
Since the task was posted on our learning platform, Ms Peppy had received many responses from the children in videos and messages. All of those responses showed their enthusiasm in working on their swimming skills and fitness. The personal feedback has sent back to each of them providing a further way or challenge in improving their swimming techniques. Based on Ms. Peppy’s feedback, some of the children sent their follow-up videos showcasing their effort in improving their swimming. Even though with school closure, we ensure that the children receive maximum support in their fitness and well-being through our daily swimming and P.E. lessons in our Virtual School Experience. We are glad to see enthusiasm and progress of our children’s learning through their videos, pictures and messages sent to the teachers.
