We were a bit worried when the Year 4 children and their furry friends appeared to have been involved in a major accident as they limped out the class with bandaged ankles, arm slings, and dressed wounds. Thankfully, no one was really injured but instead they had just had a fantastic First Aid course delivered by two of our parents, Dr Marlous and Dr Raph. The children became doctors and medics as they practised on each other and their ‘injured’ furry friends. They have been learning all about the body, so it was a great experience to learn from real doctors. Thank you Dr Marlous and Dr Raph for sharing your skills with us. And now we are really prepared if there is a real accident!
