On Saturday 10 November 2018, the children and parents started early as they went to Bogor for the annual JASIS Athletics Carnival in the beautiful Botanical gardens.
The weather was hot from the start as the children warmed up before the sprint races. The parents were a fantastic support on the day, cheering children on and guiding the groups around the events which included hurdles, goal scoring, frisbee, javelin, shoe-flicking, flip flop and stocking-hammer throw, a 300-metres run, long jump and the teddy bear knock down. Everyone enjoyed the final relays of baton change, ball-bouncing and clothes change. A wonderful sporty day out for the children.
