The NAISR Academic Scholarship Programme
Our Academic Scholarship Programme is open to students who:
- Are aged 15-18 years old (Years 11, 12 and 13).
- Have achieved academic excellence at their current school.
- Are curious, engaged, self-reliant, enjoy a challenge, and show initiative and resilience.
- Are involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
- Are well regarded by students and faculty of their current school / NAISR
Our Scholarship Programme attracts students of the highest calibre, whose talents, interests, and values align with our commitment to excellence.
Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate the capabilities to navigate the demands of our curriculum and make a positive contribution to school life. Successful candidates must maintain a high level of achievement and engagement throughout their time here.
This sounds great, what do I do next?
If your child meets the scholarship requirements above, please:
- Download and complete the application form (at the bottom of this page)
- Your child will need to write a 400-word motivation letter to accompany your application. Please address the letter to our Director, Alison Lipp, and Director of Admissions and Marketing, Mrs. Soul Robertson.
- Collect your child's school reports from the past three years.
- Deadline to apply: 15 April (or for prospective students, 1 November or 15 April)
- Email everything to: scholarships@naisr.nl
What happens next
- You'll receive an automatic response thanking you for your application.
- Our academic team will review your documents and contact your references.
Internal candidates: this review happens once a year in April/May.
External candidates: this review happens in November (for a January start) and April/May (for an August start).
Documents will be kept on our database for a maximum of one year (to comply with GDPR, we'll delete these records after 12 months). - Our senior academic team will evaluate the top candidates and review the highest achievers. The top five will be invited to an interview. Unsuccessful candidates will be informed by email.
- We'll let you know the outcome of the interview within three working days.
- If successful, our admissions team will get in touch to congratulate you, then guide you through our admissions process.
