Having been with Nord Anglia Education since 2017, Richard joined NAIS Pudong in 2022. Joining us from our sister school, The British International School Shanghai,Puxi, where he was formally the Deputy Head of Primary, Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience to our school community. Within his role as headteacher, Richard is committed to co-shaping a supportive and encouraging school community centred round a shared sense of respect.
Prior to moving to Shanghai, Richard held various leadership roles within a culturally diverse school in Birmingham (UK), overseeing all components of English reading and writing provision, including teaching and learning quality assurance, data-tracking and assessment, and curriculum design.
Before embarking upon his teaching vocation, Richard was privileged to work for both The Royal Household and The College of St. George, Windsor Castle.
