As Assistant Head of Secondary (KS3), Lina is responsible for students' academic and pastoral care in Years 7 to 9. She oversees a team of teachers, manages the curriculum, and monitors student progress, discipline, safeguarding, and other aspects of school life.
Lina is a highly qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher with almost two decades of experience teaching languages in various international contexts. Specialised in ‘Teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language,’ she started her career in England in 2003 as a Spanish and French teacher. Lina has been integral to our community since joining the Nord Anglia family in 2015.
Lina's personal experiences of learning content in a language other than her mother tongue, her passion for teaching, and her desire to help all students access the curriculum regardless of their background or nationality make her a valued member of the NAIS Pudong community.
