A nurturing and enthusiastic practitioner, Emma started her career as a Key Stage 2 teacher in the South of England, before moving to Shanghai in 2019. Emma completed her degree in English Literature and Drama at Royal Holloway, University of London before achieving her PGCE in Primary Education with a specialist focus in English.

Emma is a dedicated and hardworking member of the NAIS Pudong team and has experience teaching in both Primary and as an English and Drama teacher in the secondary school. Her passion for the Arts and reading has allowed her to direct and produce productions and create a Drama curriculum that enriches the creativity and confidence of students.

Emma embraces her passion and interest in child and teenage psychology and wellbeing with her role as Wellbeing Lead, ensuring the school is providing each individual with an inclusive and positive environment they feel supported in.
