NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Football season this year was fantastic! This was the first U19 girls team we’ve had in many years, and I’m in complete admiration of many girls in our team giving the sport a go for the first time, bringing football back to life for us!
Although understandably, trying a new sport can be daunting, yet, everyone definitely surprised themselves with their capabilities! It was amazing getting to watch everyone ‘step into their boots’ and become confident in their skills, from defending to scoring goals.
We gave each game our best efforts and used this as an opportunity to develop our technical and tactical skills as a team.Even in disheartened moments after a loss, there was never hostility—we reflected on our strengths, discussed strategies for the next game, and due to our team’s strong bond, we ensured to lift each other’s heads and spirits ready to smash the next game!
Furthermore, it was particularly wonderful to have several home games, allowing our teachers, friends, and peers to celebrate and encourage us.
Our team captain, Giselle, deserves particular credit as she used her experience to coach our team in drills, game-play, and mindset, and most of all, our top goal scorer!
This was my last year playing with our team, though I am confident that the amazing energy from our team will surely encourage the younger upcoming U19 players to join!

Last Sunday, NAIS Pudong had a Spring Fling filled with laughter and joy! International families from Shanghai gathered on campus and had a wonderful family day with their children and parents on a sunny spring day.
This week, our school was thrilled to welcome specialist educators from the world-renowned Juilliard School for an inspiring series of dance and drama sessions with both our teachers and students!
From 11 to 13 March 2025, a group of our creative students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a the NAE Regional Performing Arts Festival in Shanghai alongside 11 Nord Anglia schools from across China! With over 475 young artists immersing themselves in drama, dance, music, puppetry, short film making, physical theatre, and more, the festival was a true celebration of creativity and collaboration.
During the current academic year, we have been gradually transitioning from a House-based system to a Communities-based structure, designed to align more closely with the school’s aims and values—developing creative, confident, and considerate learners prepared for their futures.
