At NAIS Pudong, we are proud of having a unique ethos and approach when dealing with languages. We are rich in diversity and want to experience the celebration of different cultures in an environment where the values of global citizenship are promoted and developed within our students.

We are creating environments that inspire adults and children alike. Not only is the students’ work displayed creatively, but there is a range of learning prompts to motivate, encourage, and support all pupils. We want to boost our children to discover new spaces and ways of learning.

As some of us learn better through one sense than another, some  learn best through visual approaches; others through auditory approaches; yet others through a combination of two or three. Digital teaching and learning has become a core part of the practice of thousands of students  at our school and across the world. It assists with differentiation, student engagement, feedback, and assessment. Its rich data insights are perfect for tracking student progress while integrating active learning into normal lesson plans. A set of active strategies are intended to get our students up and moving while increasing their language comprehension and vocabulary. This comprehensive approach to learning helps our students learn more easily, whilst providing more modern and enjoyable experiences of learning.

Educational learning platforms  are not an optional extra but an integral part of their learning process. Our students are understanding how to enjoy strategic games and can see how specialised activities can boost their motivation towards verbs, tenses and hundreds of new words, maybe even new letters. This is providing a redefined level of engagement and providing a cutting edge  framework for education.

These adaptive and flexible educational systems are built in response to each and every learner process. They can provide study materials that are tailor-made for each student, comprehending and detecting their specific needs, with the expertise required to differentiate between levels and enhance their learning processes.

These learning capabilities are not limited to our students. They are available to our entire community. Websites such as QuizletBlooket, SenecaActive Learn and many more are ways of “smart learning” almost anything, not only languages. Feel free to experience a fun learning time with your kids by sharing an avatar battle or even help them revise using memes and funny GIF images. Even better, parents are now using these websites to monitor their child's progress at school. This provides an unique link with them and allows you to get real-time updates of their progress. Why not give it a go?
