Vera started working at The International School of Moscow in 2014. Having taught across EYFS to Key Stage 2, Vera thoroughly enjoys working at ISM and finds every day full of meaning and excitement.
Vera strives to create a caring, positive classroom, so that all the students can unleash their full potential. She aims to help every individual in class to find their passion and support them to grow stronger characters and values.
Originally from Shanghai, China and having studied and lived in England, Vera fully understands the challenges international families or students who learn English as a second language would face. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing how students tell or write their first story in English and witnessing how proud the families are with their children's progress.
As a mother of a little daughter, Vera spends a lot of her time outside of school with her family. She also enjoys reading and practises figure skating.
