Ekaterina joined ISM in the beginning of 2023 just after her return from Tokyo, Japan, where she had been staying for 6 years. While living there, she worked in The British School in Tokyo and several international preschools.
As an educator, Ekaterina strives to inspire students with a range of learning opportunities of appropriate individual challenges, both in the classroom and outdoors, that enable their personal growth and development. She supports students' positive wellbeing, encourages them to be determined, resilient and self-confident. As EYFS Assistant Teacher, she keeps exploring educational possibilities and is constantly innovating and developing her classroom practices to cherish students intrinsic love of learning, help them flourish and get prepared for their futures.
Ekaterina considers herself very lucky to be part of the International School of Moscow, a truly unique school with such a great reputation. She is very happy to be one of the Early Years Foundation Stage team, where all the educators are doing their best to make the school a place of inspiration.
Away from school, Ekaterina enjoys spending time with her family. After recent return to Russia, they especially enjoy visiting museums and theatres, as well as various family fun centres, which her two sons like the most.
