Diana’s teaching philosophy is centered around inclusivity and accessibility, fostering a learning environment where every student can thrive. She is dedicated to nurturing critical thinking skills and encourages students to explore experimental approaches while grounding their work in rigorous contextual research. Through her guidance, students develop a holistic understanding of art and design, paving the way to creative excellence.
Diana’s own artistic interests are really varied – she is passionate about drawing, textiles, painting, ceramics, text-based art, film, community art making and other collaborative approaches. She is devoted to attending workshops and galleries in Moscow, and to continuously widening her own knowledge, skills and understanding of art and design.
Diana enjoys cooking for her family and friends in Moscow, drawing, travelling, watching films, and reading. She is originally from Bulgaria, but spent 22 years studying, living, and working in London and Manchester, UK. Diana finds the city of Moscow inspiring and exciting, and her enthusiasm for Moscow’s historical and contemporary art scene continues to grow every day!
