As an Historian, Royston is really excited to be living and working in Moscow. Occupying an enviable position as a bridge between East and West, it has been central to many of the great events of world history down through the centuries. His teaching has taken him from the United Kingdom, through Africa and the Middle East and onto South East Asia. In all this time, he is yet to meet a student who does not get excited when challenged as to what their role in history will be.
Royston is passionate about his roles as Head of Year 8. He enjoys getting to know our Year 8 students and helping them to celebrate their successes or to remove any blockages to future successes.
Away from school, Royston is happiest when spending time with his family or cheering his beloved Stoke City Football Club onto victory.
