Ross was initially working at the International School of Moscow as the specialist brass teacher, delivering group and individual lessons across all campuses. Since completing his teacher training, Ross has taught both primary and secondary academic Music lessons and recently became the Rosinka campus Music Coordinator.
Ross believes the key to successful teaching is to create a positive teacher/student dynamic fueled by mutual respect and good communication. With these aspects in place, teaching can be tailored towards the specific interests of the student to create a more enjoyable learning experience.
Ross was originally born in Nottingham in the UK, however spent the vast majority of his childhood enjoying the green hills of the Isle of Man. When not at school, Ross enjoys playing squash and learning to play new instruments. During holidays he enjoys travelling to new countries to experience new cultures.
