Jack whole-heartedly believes that students should have lots of fun and feel at home at school. Throughout his career so far, he has first focused on the well-being of his students before embarking on thrilling learning journeys with each of his classes.
Inside the classroom, Jack ensures that all lessons are engaging and immersive learning opportunities for his students. He strives to provide memorable learning experiences as hooks for writing or to use Maths skills in real contexts. Some examples his students have enjoyed over the years are: The ISM Winter Olympics, turning the classroom into a thriving market, several Victorian School Days, and numerous other recreations from history.
As well as supporting academic growth, Jack plans and promotes out-of-class activities which he believes create more rounded and well-prepared students. These activities include topic projects, the use of drama in productions and assemblies, walks around the local area and encouraging participation in our school’s sporting and music events.
One of Jack’s biggest life passions is travel. His free time is also filled with watching and playing a range of different sports, listening to podcasts, and trying to improve his Russian.
