Ever since working with children as part of his psychology degree, Craig has known that teaching is the profession for him. As soon as he finished his degree, he began teacher training in Cambridge and has not looked back.
He started his teaching career right here in Russia. As soon as he qualified, he came out to teach Secondary School in Moscow and has loved every minute.
Craig is excited to be entering his sixth year of teaching and his first as Head of Year 7 at ISM. He believes that, as educators, it is our job to work together with children and equip them with the tools they need to navigate their ever-changing environments. “What a child can do in cooperation today, he can do alone tomorrow” - psychologist Lev Vygotsky.
Craig is from the North of England and recently started a family here in Moscow. Away from school, he enjoys camping and boating in Karelia, working on his dacha and learning new skills with his baby daughter.
