Alexander has been working at The International School of Moscow since 2016. He started his journey with the ISM as an Assistant Teacher in Upper Primary. Being a graduate of the Faculty of Philology, which he finished with honours, Alexander joined the Department of Modern Foreign Languages in our school in 2017. Since then, he has a great experience of teaching students from EYFS up to Key Stage 3.
Alexander believes that it is very important to help students to learn skills that they require in order to continue to learn well after they have left a classroom. In his Literature lessons, he always motivates students not only to read a text, but he also engages students to develop new understandings and a critical look at the world in which they live. Alexander wants students to enjoy the interaction and encourages them in a dialogue.
Being an inquisitive person, Alexander is interested in history, and, in his free time, he likes travelling and sightseeing.
