On the morning of Tuesday 28th June, the Reception graduates of Krylatskoe Lower Campus put on their best graduation robes, donned their caps and prepared for the ceremony.
Parents enjoyed canapes and listened to our excellent primary musicians: Mark, Seohyeon and Natasha, as they waited in anticipation. Mr Noack welcomed the audience with a few words celebrating the achievements of the Reception students before it was time for their arrival.
Tears were already falling as the graduating class of 2022 approached the stage. After a warm welcome from the Lower Campus Choir, the students performed their song ‘I’m Growing Up’, before Ms Vera Qian spoke of her pride in the students’ progress throughout the year. After ‘The Goodbye Song’ from the Nursery class, the Reception students received certificates and graduating medals with great joy from their teachers, Mr Noack and Mr Keach.
Finally, it was time for a ‘Thank You’ song from the students, sharing their appreciation for their parents and teachers as their time in Early Years drew to a close. Mr Keach prepared the students for their time in Primary by inviting them to celebrate with a traditional graduation hat toss! With a final cheer, the graduates celebrated with an energetic dance to Shakira’s ‘Try Everything’, reminding them that new and exciting times are just around the corner.
The students, parents and teachers concluded the celebrations with a delicious picnic shared with their teddy bears. A huge thank you must go to the wonderful catering and facilities team, who ensured this momentous event could be celebrated in style! Congratulations to the Reception Graduates of 2022!
