This year, half of all of ISM’s A level results were either A or A*, a figure well above the United Kingdom National Average. In addition, 88% of grades were between A* and C, with every single Year 13 student passing every A Level that they sat.
Graduate destinations this year include: Queen Mary’s University, London, Goldsmiths College, Central St. Martins, London, Exeter University, Bangor University, The University of Edinburgh, St. Andrews University, UCLA in the United States, Bocconi University in Italy and Stellenbosch in South Africa.
Paul Keach, Principal of The International School of Moscow, said: “I am absolutely delighted with these magnificent A Level results and I send my congratulations to all of last academic year’s Year 13 students. These results are a fitting testimony to their dedication and determination to succeed. I wish all our students the very best of luck as they make their way to their chosen universities all over the world.”
Head of Upper Campus and Secondary School, Dean Moore added, “Once again, I am delighted by these results. They demonstrate not only the commitment of students and teachers but also our commitment to help students go the right University for them and their future careers. In only four years, our Sixth Form has grown from 6 students to 60 students and it would be difficult to imagine our school without them. I am very proud of our graduates of 2018 and would like to wish them the very best for the future.”
The International School of Moscow’s A level results would place them in 8th position in the Top 10 UK Small Independent School’s (Less than 50 Year 13 Graduates) for 2018.
Adding her congratulations, new Head of Sixth Form, Sarah Robinson, commented: “It is a pleasure to be joining such a successful school. The students should be proud of their achievements. These results mean that our students can access some of the best universities and degree courses around the world. Along with the Sixth Form team, I am looking forward to working with our current Sixth Form students as they make some big decisions over the coming months.”
