OUR IB MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAMME (MYP)

At International College Spain (ICS), our 11 to 16-year-olds follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP).

The MYP provides a firm academic foundation for our international middle school students, with specialist subjects delivered through cross-curricular themes, topics, and projects. It also focuses on the development of essential attitudes, skills, and values.

To prepare our students for the challenge of the IB Diploma Programme, our exceptional IB teachers don’t just teach facts and knowledge; they show them how to learn and give them control over their education.
  • In Grades 6-8, our teachers will help your child to hone their creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
  • In Grades 9-10, your child will take charge of their learning, as they immerse themselves in projects that deepen their understanding of key concepts and ideas.
