Collège du Léman recently celebrated 60 years of excellence in education. It is a school that we are incredibly proud of, a school that believes in the importance of the community working together to create students that are their best selves. We are proud of our Swiss heritage and we are proud to be part of a family of more than eighty Nord Anglia Education sister schools around the world.
As educators, we have a responsibility to prepare our students to become global citizens. We have to help each child find their place in this ever-changing world. They need to learn how to work with anyone, anywhere. At Collège du Leman we expect all members of our school community to understand and embrace the importance of equality and diversity, and to stand against discrimination in any form.
We inspire, empower and challenge our students, encouraging them to be positive contributors to the school and society in which they live. Outstanding teachers build on our exceptional breadth of courses and activities, creating individual learning journeys for each and every child, from the little two year olds, all the way up to our somewhat larger graduates.
Our students can study in English or French, or follow our bilingual programmes. They can choose from a range of diplomas and from more than a hundred exciting extra curricular activities. Through Nord Anglia they enjoy collaborations with the UN, the Juilliard school and MIT. All of this on a beautiful, green campus on the edge of Lake Geneva, in full view of the snow capped Swiss Alps. It’s a world of opportunities.
Our three pillars of academic excellence, quality learning and effective teaching are built on a foundation of well-being that is at the heart of the curriculum. For students to achieve their full potential, we believe that their physical, emotional and social needs must be met.
Our RISE values of Respect, Internationalism, School Spirit and Excellence are at the heart of daily life at Collège du Léman and unite our diverse community. Our students feel that they are part of one big family.
I hope to welcome you to our school in the future, to experience the energy, enthusiasm and warmth of our wonderful campus and community.
