Dear Parents,
Our second Student Council event of the year is on Thursday, 23 March. This term, the council have decided to host a Beach Party from 6 - 9pm. We had a number of parents who kindly gave up their time last term to provide props, decorate and bake and I am appealing to you to help us again. We currently need assistance with the following:
- Beach related props we can borrow: inflatables such as beach balls, palm trees, dolphins etc. parasols, beach signs, shells/starfish, small paddling pools to keep drinks cool etc. The possibilities are endless! We'd also appreciate photo both props such as beach hats, flower garlands, sunglasses and snorkels.
- A photo booth back drop of a beach/the sea or a beach scene of people with holes cut out for students to place their heads in.
- Volunteers to run the BBQ on the evening. This can be done in 30 minute or hour blocks if you cannot stay for the full event.
- Volunteers to bake beach themed (or brightly coloured) cupcakes and cookies.
If you are able to help with any of the above, please let me know and I will co-ordinate efforts. Thank you for your ongoing support of our Student Council and their attempts to bring our secondary school community together.
