Did you know that it’s possible to study at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) – while still in secondary school?
At Champittet, we’re lucky to have this internationally renowned public research university right here in Lausanne. EPFL has developed a series of short courses, or pre-university weeks for high school students, to ignite passions for science and technology.
Week-long courses are available in cutting-edge fields, ranging from robotics and electronics to programming and environmental analysis. For students, this programme offers a great way to take a deep dive into a scientific topic while collaborating with like-minded peers and learning from top scientists and researchers.
We encourage our science-loving students to check out EPFL’s upcoming courses in June and July. Each topic is taught in an interdisciplinary manner, blending theory with real-world application. This summer, why not spend a week discovering game theory and artificial intelligence, science and sustainability, or the world of STEM?
Find out more about each course on EPFL’s website, and be sure to register online by May 1st!
More than 500 NAE students worldwide – including 25 of our own students from Collège Champittet played over 2,000 games of chess during the global online chess tournament !
